The following are installed on BASE3:
- ZIF socket (8 upper ones for I2C/SPI, 8 lower ones - AH duplication) Convenient to work with DIP packages.
- connector (black, vertical) for external expansion cards for EC programming (*)
- 50 pins with 0.5mm pitch
- 34 pins with 1mm pitch
- 40 pins with 0.8mm pitch

BASE3 can be used on a permanent basis and for working with EC , and for SPI, and for I2C and for testing keyboards with the number of pins up to 50 inclusive.
