Hard to find relic from the World War II era, the Rand McNally War Map of the World. The map shows the locations of some known air, land and sea bases fir all combatants. It also includes flags so you can show where the days news said conflicts were occurring and what countries were involved. The map is a tidy 13” x 11” when folded. It opens to a nice large 42” x 26” to hang on your wall. The map is dated 1943, as shown. It is fairly complete with some of the flags missing, no surprise in a piece that was actively used. The opening and closing has led to some seem splits as to be expected. Would look great framed got your collection.

Condition

Item is sold as pictured and comes from a smoke-free environment. Please take a good look and ask any questions you may have; we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible (usually same day). Additional photos can be provided. Please let us know what you would like to see.

Please let us know that you have won multiple items and wait for an invoice to pay. To keep shipping costs down, we use recycled shipping materials where possible. If you require new, please let us know and we will be happy to quote an option for you. We try to use USPS Priority Mail as it includes $50 of insurance. If additional insurance is needed, please ask and we will provide a quote. We do ship internationally.

Payments

Payments are expected within 48 hours of auction close. Per current eBay rules, at 96 hours, the system will automatically file an unpaid item claim and cancel the bid.
