it is actually in an offwhite/eggshell color, and is made of incredibly intricate, high quality, layered, cotton guipure lace, of flowers with 3-dimensional petals. 

it has a band of lattice lace around the upper chest/sleeves/back, with a fringe below that.

it also has more classic, ribbed knit sweater hems.
