Roy Rogers and Dale Evans inaugurated the venerable coliseum in 1957, and since then it's played host to world-class entertainers including Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, KISS, Metallica, the Doobie Brothers, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks ... the list goes on and on. Tingley has also been home to a host of semi-pro sports teams such as the New Mexico Scorpions Hockey Team and the Albuquerque Thunderbirds to name just a couple.
