Here we have a Austrian-Hungarian pendant / brooch that is 2 1/4" in diameter and weighs 35 grams.

This brooch has been tested to be at least .900 silver.

The pendant brooch has been through some changes in its long 110+ years life.  Firstly there is a modern  pin back that has been cold soldered on.

The pendant has some resin glue deep down in the center where 8 bars join under the central filigree wirework.

Those bars radiate out and terminate in bezel set pearl and faceted garnet.

The bezel set turquoise cabachons are mounted on the back rough filigree piece.

The central piece has enamel petals of which some are broken, and a larger central blister pearl.

The back side has an original ribbed wire  bail and the back side appears to once have been gilt.

This is a stable  piece that appears to have been treasured enough to have changes and repairs done in its long life.  If only it could speak!
