For standard motorcycle parts and components sold through our website, typical dispatch time is within 1224 hours of order confirmation, depending on timezones ordered from.

Shipping Weights (UK)

There are no weight restrictions for UK we can ship from envelope to pallets.

Customer Product Shipping (International)

The following times are estimated for standard Small/Medium Parts (up to 10kg). Delivery times are highly variable and do not include delays caused by customs clearance in the destination country.

Moto-Classic ships products to all countries globally, with the exception of any currently restricted territories as per our courier's policies.

Shipping Weights (International)

There are no weight restrictions for European shipping we can ship from envelope to pallets. For Air Freight Services it gets a little more complicated, as airlines use a system called Volumetric.

Volumetric Shipping Explained

Volumetric (or dimensional) weight is a pricing technique carriers use to charge for shipping based on a package's size rather than just its actual weight. It calculates the space occupied, allowing carriers to charge for low-density, bulky items, with the final cost based on the higher of actual vs. volumetric weight.

The chargeable weight is the greater of the actual weight or the volumetric weight. Carriers use specific formulas:

Metric Formula: (Length × Width × Height) ÷ 5000
Imperial Formula: (Length × Width × Height) ÷ 139

This system matters for cost control a large box with a light item might be charged for the space it takes up rather than its weight. It also encourages efficiency, as optimising packaging size minimises the space used in aircraft and delivery vehicles.
