Safely lift and position your outboard engine during installation, service, or removal with this Engine Lifting Ring Tool.
Designed to attach directly to compatible flywheel mounting holes, this lifting eye provides a secure connection point for engine hoists and lifting equipment during maintenance operations.
Constructed from heavy-duty laser-cut steel and supplied with high-strength mounting hardware for dependable performance.

The important thing is that the flywheel must have 3 equally spaced tapped holes about 1 3/8 +- from the center of the flywheel. AGAIN, make SURE that there are 3 equally spaced tapped holes about 1 3/8+- from the center of your flywheel.
The round part in the upper left corner is 1/4" steel which is cut out using a CNC laser machine.The 3 bolts and washers on the upper right are 5/16 fine thread grade eight.On the lower left is the lifting ring itself, a washer and a 1/2" lock nut.
The washer goes on the bottom and you would thread the nut in until at least the threads go all the way through the nylon portion of the lock nut.This will ensure that the nut will not spin off when you have the outboard hanging in air.
Fitment:
For OMC, Evinrude, Johnson, BRP, ETEC outboard motor.
Note:
The ring itself is rated at nearly 2,500 pound which is *WAY* more then any outboard weighs.
There are at least 3 different engine lift ring tools used for the OMC / Evinrude / Johnson BRP, ETEC outboards.
So, before you purchase this, please make sure that this tool will fit your outboard as it will NOT work on all models of those outboards.
