You can use Boogie Blue PLUS+ filters for indoor, outdoor and container gardens, fish tanks, Koi ponds, washing pets and livestock, filling swimming pools, RV water hookups, making compost teas, in hydroponic systems and anywhere else you need high quality water.

With a dual catalytic-carbon & KDF membrane, the PLUS+ model is built with a similar construction to our original Boogie Blue, (now renamed the “Classic” Boogie Blue). However, it contains MORE carbon, (almost 6 oz more) and MORE chlorine & chloramine-scrubbing KDF material, (11oz of KDF). 

Furthermore, the carbon membrane has been improved to include a superior grade of catalytic material, (Resin-Ion Exchange), which has shown great promise at arresting increased levels of heavy metals.

The Boogie Blue PLUS+ is rated at an approximate lifespan of 45,000 gallons.

The Boogie Blue filters are NOT good for dissolved solids, such a purpose can only be achieved with a reverse osmosis system, (which will generate 2 to 5 gallons of wastewater for each gallon of filtered water).

The Boogie Blue filter will not remove “salts”, (i.e. dissolved solids), from well water. It will only remove about 10 to 15% of a source water’s dissolved solids. (And that 10-15% ppm drop is composed of heavier, metal-type elements, not macro-minerals like calcium, iron, potassium, sodium, etc...) The other 85% or so can only properly be removed with an RO, (Reverse Osmosis) system, (or through distillation).

The Boogie Blue filter’s specialty is effectively scrubbing chemicals such as chlorine and chloramine so that soil biology can thrive. In addition, other harmful elements such as mercury, pesticides, and heavy metals are removed by the Boogie Blue Plus KDF55/KDF85 filtration membrane and also the high-grade carbon, (resin-ion exchange granular activated membrane).  This combination has shown great promise at arresting the increased levels of heavy metals.

We accept returns on units that are in their original unused and uninstalled condition. 


IF THE FILTER IS DEFECTIVE, INSTEAD OF OPENING A RETURN REQUEST, CONTACT US FOR A EXCHANGE OR REPLACEMENT.

Follow these instructions to help expedite your return:
  • Contact us in advance for an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization)
  • Follow the return instructions that we provide to you, which include the RMA# and shipping address for the return. 
  • You will then receive your refund when the filter has been returned and inspected.   
  • Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the 30-day return unless it is a defect return.  
  • All returns may be subject to a restocking fee. 
  • Refunds will not be issued on products that have been broken or damaged by customers! 
  • Buyers must consult with a BonRan Home Plus first prior to any return request and the filter deemed to have a documented factory defect.

Filters not functioning properly due to "customer setup" DO NOT qualify as a manufacturer's defect. Other non-qualifying reasons Include but are not limited to the following:

1. Filter not properly sized for the desired application.
2. Filter not recommended for attempted removal of salts.  
3. Customer ordering the wrong type of filter. 
5. Customer water pressure or flow rate not consistent with minimum requirements for filter to function properly.


Buyer agrees that by entering into a transaction for this item to be bound by the terms of the above return policy and acknowledges that this is a legal and binding contract.

Buyers attempting to avoid the return shipping charges by claiming "Item Not as Described or Defective" will be reported. 
Returned filters that have been damaged by the buyer will be subject to a restocking fee or possible rejection of the return claim.
