This American Standard stock certificate does need an introduction because it's a VERY RARE SPECIMEN STOCK with red serial no. 00000. Specimen stocks were issued only as PROOFS or SAMPLES by American Bank Note Co., the stock's engraver, to display the design, plate details and signatures to the client company!

The signatures of the President and Secretary indicate that the offered Specimen was created in the 1960's or early 1970's. The Registrar was the Pittsburgh National Bank while the Transfer Agent was the Mellon Bank.
