| Tillman's 850 premium elkskin gloves are known as The King of the Pipeline by stick welders. Crafted from top-grain gold elkskin leather that stays remarkably soft and pliable even in extreme heat, the 850 provides unmatched comfort while offering exceptional durability against intense welding temperatures. The cotton/foam lined back and 14" length ensures complete protection against sparks, spatter and radiant heat making the 850 the ideal choice for pipeline welding. The unlined reversed (rough side out) elkskin palm delivers a soft feel against the hand while providing outstanding grip and precise control. Welted fingers protect stitching from abrasion and heat damage, and the reinforced thumb provides added strength in a key stress area. Premium DuPont™ Kevlar® thread lock stitching throughout provides up to 5x more tensile strength than standard thread.
