Hard anodising vs standard? Hard anodized aluminum is thicker than standard anodised, which gives the surface of hard anodised parts increased corrosion resistance and increased wear resistance compared to standard anodising.
Each of pair purchased includes our adjustment clamps, height adjuster, pivot bolts, washers and nuts in full stainless steel. Buyer beware of other sellers' housing bolts/kits where the height adjuster bolts or nuts are zinc plated, as the "use of stainless steel and zinc fittings is not recommended and must be avoided" as per Australian Stainless Steel Development Association recommendations. Why? When two dissimilar metals are in contact they react and cause corrosion. Metallurgy 101. What about galling? Use proper anti-seize.
