Lionel 6801 Licensed Reproduction
Window boxes, (twelve boxes). These boxes are exactly like the box car boxes with the trucks turned out except that they have a window & have a blank area to stamp the car number. They are also the exact size of the Lionel flatcars & hold these cars with the medium loads on them. The following cars fit perfectly in these boxes: 3509, 3510, 3519, 6175, 6262, 6264, 6311,6343, 6424, 6467, 6469, 6477, 6500, 6800, 6501, 6502, 6511, 6512, 6660, 6670, 6801, 6801-50, 6801-75, 6802, 6805, 6812, 6819, 6821, 6823 and 6826. They also hold the 3444 operating gondola and long gondolas w/canisters. All of these pieces fit perfectly into the boxes and you are able to view them without taking them out. The inserts allow the couplers to be turned out and hold the cars securely. Lionel never made this box but they should have and we have sold thousands before putting the word Lionel on them.
