#1 Rule for featherweight portable machine.  Do not turn wheel to adjust the needle.  Use the handle behind the needle to lift up the foot and then you will have room to get to your needle.  I always sewed with a treddle Singer Machine and if anyone ever sewed with those you know for sure we used the wheel to adjust the needle.  Well Guess What I did lst thing out of the box?  Turned the wheel and got the bobbin thread all knotted up.  Fortunely I had seen on Utube a lesson of how to fix that.  My husband and I worked together and got that all straightened out.  It can be done but it takes a while and its a lot of work.  Please do not turn the wheel any way but toward you- Counter clockwise.  If you do I guarantee that you will lock up the machine. This machine is running and ready to go.  Do not  I repeat  Do not turn the wheel to thread the machine.  If you trun it backward you will lock up the machine.  I will not  take returns on this machine.  I am selling it as is and no returns.  It is already boxed and ready to go.  I will  not un box it.  there are plenty of pictures and a good description for you.
