~SPC Light Racing Upper Control Arm Kit - SPC-25470
Description: Tacoma's run out of factory adjustment when you install lift kits. With Specialty Products Company patent pending design this upper control arm provides an additional ±2 degree of caster and 0 degree to +5 degree of camber change. Built with an OE style ball joint and bushings, this arm is designed to correct alignment angles while maintaining factory ride quality. The hybrid tubular and forged steel design is tough enough to race - on or off-road. These remove and replace arms are sold as a pair for lifted and off-road applications. Specialty Products Company designed their Toyota Tacoma upper control arm kit to provide truck owners with an awesome replacement upper control arm at a very reasonable price. The SPC design provides for a significant Camber and Caster change to help correct ride quality and tire wear issues that are common after a lift or leveling kit has been installed. This design provides an increase in articulation over the factory OE ball joint while still providing more clearance for the spring and tire than the OE arm does. Instead of using metal bearings SPC uses OE quality rubber bushings and an OE style ball-joint assembly that should never require service. And the best part of the SPC design is that it offers more strength in critical areas than the OE upper control arm does. This extra strength is necessary and beneficial to survice extreme off-road use when a Tacoma is taken off the pavement. The SPC Upper Control Arm # 25470 features a unique hybrid tubular and forged steel design that is tough enough to race.. on or off-road. If your stock upper control arms had sufficient travel in the ball joint these SPC arms will not be the limiting factor to suspension travel! The OEM style sealed high-angle ball joint allows for sufficient travel without the squeaks and rattles commonly caused by un-sealed Uniball style control arms. The hybrid tubular steel design is tough enough to survive even the harshest usage. These SPC arms can be used in conjunction with the factory alignment cams to maximize clearance in the wheel well.
