These hi-cut sprinter-style shorts are made to measure from PVC-coated nylon. It's the kind of fabric that is normally used to make the outer shell of waterproof down jackets, so it's very strong and lightweight thanks to the tightly woven threads. It also has the high shine you would expect from PVC and catches the light brilliantly. The reverse side is tightly woven white nylon which feels soft and smooth against the skin.

The shorts are finished with your own choice of acetate satin trim around the legs.

The shorts are machine-washable on a delicate cold cycle, should not be ironed and should be left to drip dry.

You receive a brand new unworn pair, made to order - the shorts worn in the pictures are not sent.

NEW BUYERS: I strongly recommend that you order just one pair to start with. That way, you can be sure that the size and cut of the design will work for you.

If your size isn't listed, then let me know and I'll see what I can do!

I can also adapt the following measurements to your specific requirements:

  • Inside leg
  • Outside leg
  • Waistband to crotch measurement
  • Leg circumference
  • Unstretched waistband (i.e. the length of elastic used)
  • Fully stretched waistband (i.e. how far they will stretch to the maximum)

Just ask me and most of the time it will be possible at no extra cost.

I have lots more images available of styles that I have designed with this fabric, so just get in touch if you would like to discuss any of this.

Any other questions, give me a shout.

Ryan

UPDATE - 31/12/20

SHIPPING

The UK has now left the EU and will be trading under its own rules from now on. This may mean that packages shipped from the UK to the EU will take longer than they used to, due to customs inspections.

In order to help you keep track of your orders in the event of any delay, I will be shipping all orders going outside the UK from now on with a tracking number. (If you don't want tracked mailing, however, you can request an invoice when you place your order, instructing me to just use the cheaper International Standard mailing service.)

CUSTOMS DUTY FEES

EU customers might find that they incur unexpected customs fees from now on, which are sadly beyond my control. If this happens, I can refund you the value of the fees in the form of discount codes to use on my own 'ShinyShortzRyan' website. Browse for my site online - it's easy to find! - and contact me there if you wish to take advantage of this offer.

UPDATE for EU customers (7 August 2021)

If the total value of your order is under 150 Euros (£135), VAT will be charged to you directly at the checkout. This means that your order should travel through the postal system without any delay and there should be no additional fees to pay.

If the total value of your order is above 150 Euros (£135), Ebay will not be able to charge the VAT at checkout and it will be applied instead at the point of importation. Your postal delivery service will then charge you the VAT (plus a possible handling charge) before delivery. This could cause extra delays which are beyond my control.

Therefore, I recommend that EU customers limit the total order value to 150 Euros (£135).

Update - 17 April 2022

to celebrate five years of working pretty much non-stop, i have decided to give myself a 'weekend', which will typically be thursday & friday of every week. I might be away from home on these days, so won't always be able to dispatch orders or reply to messages, but I will be on the case as soon as possible, usually by the saturday morning. Many thanks! Ryan ;-)
