There are some metal posts on the top of the pumpkin that I'm not sure what they are for. I kind of think that you can use them to change the placement of the lighted leaf. I've shown several leaf positions in the photos.
The pumpkin is hinged and opens up to store the lighted leaf, the metal stem, and the cord.
