For sale is one new 6922/E88CC tube, in superb new condition, made by Siemens for RCA.

The word "Britain" is also on the tube, but it was certainly from OEM Siemens, I have some other tubes to support my belief.

This is the holy grille of tubes when comparing to all the E88CC/6922/6DJ8/ECC88 tubes.

I was fortunate to save a few of these tubes for my memorabilia when I worked with the Tektronic and Hewlett-Packard equipment in the mid-60's. In those years, only a couple of these expensive tubes were provided in the front-end of the equipment, the rest were the ordinary 6922 or 6DJ8 tubes.

For this reason I call these tubes the holy grille of tubes with justification.

It is the most prestige tube available to day in its class, with gold pin, special filament winding (to make achieve the super quietness), chrome shield between the dual triodes.

The Siemens codes ‡F was engraved on the glass bottle. All those tubes were computer-checked for exact balance and other things prior to installation. That's why you see exact 105/105 ratings on both sides.

Test ratings:  105/105 on my Jackson 648s tester, minimum at 70, new tubes at about 105.
