This set includes:
-2 Cast iron door plates, each measuring about 7-3/8" x 2.0". No maker's marks, as is so often the case! -2 Lovely door knobs; 2.25" diameter
Dark copper plating over metal 1 Clean spindle and 2 spindle set screws included, or course.
Various other knob options are available; message me for details. Mortise locks with key may also be available for additional cost.
So pretty!!! And, all cleaned up....so you don't have to, unlike so many other sets listed elsewhere that are just plain junk, with dents, dings, paint, corrosion, gunk, old polish, parts that are so rusted together you can't even get them apart when you try to install them! I don't sell junk. This set will be clean and ready to use when you receive it.
These antiques date back to the early 1900's and are as popular today as they were back in the day, if not more so. They are very decorative, are never out of style, and add elegance to even a plain, simple door. And, so much prettier and better- quality than those cheap-looking imported reproductions you see at some retail stores.
As with all old, antique, vintage and pre-owned items, these may have some degree of visible wear, discoloration, dust, tarnish, etc, which is considered normal. Patina and finish may vary from piece to piece. While old, this set is still in remarkably condition for its age. It’s not like-new or perfect but displays very well; I consider it to be in very good to excellent vintage condition, consistent with age and use, but YOU be the judge.
