During both Medieval and Tudor times a large part of the population lived in, or very near to, the major market towns. On market day these towns were the meeting place for farmers, traders and craft workers from across the country selling and exchanging their goods. Fairs were also held which would attract strolling minstrels, performing tumblers and acrobats and animal acts with trained bears. The Royal Banquet Transfer Pack consists of an A4 card with a Banquet scene on the inside. There is a sheet of rub down transfers with items on it. On the reverse there is a scene to colour in and historical information.
