This chain of soft pretzel franchises began in 1966 in the state of Michigan and the first store opened at Livonia Mall. Hot Sam’s were mainly located in malls across the US. In 1995, Mrs. Field’s acquired Hot Sam’s and converted them to Pretzel Time stores. By 2005, this business was no more.
