Vintage leaded glass x-ray tube protection bowl, in very good condition but with a very small chip on the upper rim, please see pictures for details.

This bowl is unmarked, but I believe it was made in the 1920's.  It is heavy leaded glass (possibly as high as 50% lead)

Dimensions:
  • Overall outer diameter approximately 9-3/4", inner diameter 8-1/2", height is 7-1/2"
  • Side openings are 2-3/4" wide and 5" deep
  • Bottom flange is 5-7/8" outer diameter, opening is 4-1/2" diameter
  • The glass is 1/2" thick
  • Weight is 11 pounds
