Mains Consumer unit installation kit

Not to be confused with slightly cheaper but dangerous and ILLEGAL single pole units !

This listing is for a 16A mains installation kit.

Please note: We are generally able to offer this kit with variations such as colour of external inlet and also a surface mount one as shown in the third photo. Please enquire before purchase as there may be a small additional charge and also we will need to ensure we have what you require. The surface unit is NOT included as standard in the kit.

APPLICATIONS INCLUDE:

Caravans, Self build Camper vans, Motorhomes, Boats, and other vehicles that require hook up via a 3 pin caravan type lead.

The kit includes all the parts required for a standard installation.

*NOTE! Due to the range & type of vehicles we have not included the screws for fixing the inlet to the side of the vehicle.

SPECIFICATION: The Consumer unit is ready for installation and includes a mains polarity warning lamp. This is an important feature, as reveresed polarity is potentially lethal and quite commonplace particularly on the continent. A label is provided with the consumer unit with regard to the RCCB operation. This unit is specifically designed for use in vehicles.

* The unit will indicate a reversed input polarity via the Red neon indicator.

This unit is produced specifically for Caravans and Motorhomes etc.

CONTENTS INCLUDE:

* Consumer unit: 1 x 25A RCCB 30mA 1 x DP MCB 10A

* 5 metres of 1.5mm sq flexible mains cable for wiring 13A mains sockets etc.

* 2.5 metres of 2.5mm sq flexible mains cable for wiring from inlet to consumer unit.

Please note: The above cables may be supplied as white, blue or orange STA. Please contact us if you have a preference.

* 1 metre of yellow/green earth wire for connecting incoming earth to chassis for safety.

* Deluxe satin white flush fitting 16A mains inlet made by ABL sersum in Germany with spring loaded flap and magnetic catches

Requires a standard male to female hookup lead to connect to site mains, supplied with stainless A2 screws and foam gasket.

* Twin flush fitting 13A C-Line CBE type sockets with faceplate & saftey rear covers.

* Bag of cable ties sticky bases and screws (for consumer unit and mains inlet in stainless steel)

* Instruction leaflet supplied

Please note: The last photo is shown to illustrate alternative component that can be supplied with this kit. The surface mount power inlet is NOT included but are available as an alternative to the white mains inlet or twin 13a sockets can be substituted for the twin faceplate. Please request alternatives at the time of ordering.
