Tea Tree Oil also known as Melaleuca alternifoliais, is an essential oil that is highly regarding for its healing qualities. The oil is extracted from a small tree native to Australia that grows to about 7 Metres in height and cannot be found naturally occurring anywhere else. Tea tree oil is extracted from Melaleuca alternifolia of the Myrtaceae family and is also known as ti-tree, ti-trol and melasol.
