NORMAN ROCKWELL "American Landscape" Series Gorham Collector Plate

This collector plate, titled "Summer Respite," is one of four in Norman Rockwell's Four Seasons series of panoramic scenes of the American countryside. Originally painted in 1959, this limited edition plate, measuring 10.75 inches, was produced by Gorham Fine China of California. It was only offered by Gorham from 1980-1981.

This plate also has a beautiful two-inch gold-painted floral motif border with gold trim around the edge. It has never been displayed or removed from its box except to be photographed, and is in mint condition.
