These are made from a super soft and flexible silicone.  Moondrop used them internally for development of their IEMs.  These tips are the ones included when you purchase a Kato.


The tip has a flexible soft serrated edge which allows it to form the ideal grip on you ear canal.  These are "open bore" tips which means they pass the sound through to the ear without colouration, giving more detail and wider sound stage.


The silicone is so soft and heat sensitive (this is part of their pressure balance system) that you might need to let the tips physically warm up a bit in your ear before you get a proper seal 3-4 minutes should do it.  This is especially relevant for  metal construction IEM's like Kato.
