From what I can find, it is Morini Franco Gilardoni mfg, which makes engines and of course parts for 50cc bikes and mopeds.  They made engines and parts in the 60s and 70s, and still have some modern stuff as well, but this item is vintage 70s.  

Cylinder has 6 fins, and is marked N2052, and "Gilardoni".   

Overall cyclinder and fins looks great.  Inside bore appears to be few very light scratches on bore wall near one end.  

Included is piston, looks to also be in nice shape, but with very slight scartches on wall.  Both cylinder and piston looks like with some light buffing/honing may be able to use as is.
