Lab Created Beryllium diffusion Treated Blue Sapphire

These lab sapphires are treated with beryllium diffusion to make the stone brighter, a treatment that is used on natural stones for the same purpose.  It is hard to see in the photo, but when compared in real life to an untreated sapphire, these are much brighter in colour.
