She was created by Chuck Gruen, the Mid Century Texas artist who also worked for decades as the legendary Art Director for Neiman Marcus, no less, and whose wonderful graphic designs like this little beauty of a Christmas card have enchanted folks for many years. His work is collected by Christmas fans world-wide, and these wonderful original Silkscreen cards are cherished, often framed as works of holiday art, which we think is a great idea and makes a super gift for any holiday/Christmas fan! This card was printed, using a detailed Silkscreen process, by the esteemed Editions Limited Studios, owned by Joseph Pekley, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; their motto was 'Mail of Distinction', and indeed, everything we've ever found by this Studio is a classic to be kept and appreciated, as they used wonderful artists like Gruen for everything they did! We found this card at an estate of an amazing graphic artist, who collected graphic art-related items like this for decades and took immaculate care of everything- This card has never been used, is considered 'New Old Stock' (NOS) and is in mint condition, as is its original envelope!
