Morrisseau was born in Red Lake Ontario in 1964, spent his early
childhood in the fly in community Sandy Lake First Nation with his
Father the Artist Norvel Moriseau and mother Harriet Morriseau.
Inspired by others artwork, listening to his Elders passing on oral stories, he visualizes these stories brings those images into his paintings, each telling its own story.
Thru his artwork he carries on this fathers' colours in his own unique style.
