Application Instructions:
Non-woven fabric, EVA coated fabric, widely used in various medical protective clothing, anti-bacterial infection series and non-woven products.
Features:
Firm Adhesion: The hot melt strip is soft, low temperature, eco-friendly, with beautiful appearance, fast bonding speed, firm adhesion, medical protective clothing hot-melt adhesive strips are used for edge sealing and pinhole filling of protective clothing.
High-frequency Heat Sealing: Various types of hot air seam sealing machines can be used for the pasting equipment, and high-frequency heat sealing machines can also be used. Operating conditions of hot air seam sealer, hot air temperature is 300°C, surface melting point is 220°C, hot melt adhesive melting point is 80°C, speed is 10m/min, pressure is 1.0-1.2kg/cm2.
Effective Protection: The hot melt strip can increase the output speed and viscosity, adjust the distance of the air nozzle, or slightly adjust the air nozzle to a quarter of the upper pressure wheel to blow hot strips to prevent hot air from blowing into the protective clothing fabric and causing deformation.
For small scale production, repairs and patching the Tape can be applied using a Heat Press or Household Iron.
In this case the temperature needs to be on a medium / medium hot setting - the dwell time is the important factor and
this can only be determined by experimentation - suggest in the region of 6 - 10 seconds with pressure applied.
Ideally apply the Tape to a small piece of waste fabric first to test adhesion strength - after test application and allowing
time for cooling pull the tape back and you should feel a strong resistance. For a good seal to be achieved the temperature
must be hot enough for the adhesive to be flowing / molten and pressure must be applied across the full width of the tape.
