Antique branding iron from the ' B. Murray Co. '. The history of the iron is not known to me. I inverted one of the photos so you could easily read the name of the company. Appears to be hand made, measures 2 1/2" long, the section of the brand with the Murray name measures 5 1/2" wide, 1 5/8" thick and with a height about 1 1/4" inches. The weight is about 4 pounds.
