I have never actually seen one of these before can't find an reference anywhere for this lid. I have seen tea pots and Kettles very rarely. But never a lid? It is marked Redway & Burton 11 1n Cincinnati O 1866. It measures about 10 and 5/8" to the outside lip. and about 11" to the outer ring so my guess is it sat on an 11 inch pan or possible an 11" kettle or cauldron? It has about a 1 and 1/4" lip on the top of the pan. It is in amazing shape no cracks etc. the only thing is I think this was painted? more photos available upon request
