~ FIRST: THE RARE PARTS G2 TIE ROD KIT - RP28559G2

Rare Parts, Inc. has just released their newly redesigned heavy-duty tie rod assemblies for 2001-2010 CHEVY / GMC Trucks and SUV’s including the HUMMER H2. The NEW G2 outer tie rod end has been redesigned to eliminate the weak (buckling) point that the original design is known for. An oversized 1 1/2" diameter solid forging has replaced the original undersized 1/2" rod where the buckling occurs. The outer end also has a larger diameter full ball stud and socket allowing for a larger greaseable wear surface, and increasing reliability. This larger socket and ball also offers more stud swing for greater articulation. The Inner Tie Rod end incorporates the same oversize design with a ¾” threaded rod replacing the original ½” rod. The inner ball and socket has also been increased from 25mm to 32mm. Pre-greased with (AMSOIL) synthetic lubricant and Made in the USA.
