The lid has a beautiful etched floral design in the wood, which looks like the Savannah Floral pattern Longaberger had in fabric. 

The lid measures 10" x 8 1/2". The interior measurement where it sits in the basket measures 9 1/8" x 7 5/8". Please see photos with ruler - it could fit on any basket with these measurements.
