Constructed from sturdy waterproof and rustproof PVC, this sturdy, self-supporting grate requires no additional support for any feature that weighs 50 lbs or less. Ideal for covering water basins or reservoirs that support bubblers, fountain vases, or faux rocks. Also suited for constructing a pondless waterfall or other similar water feature installation. Measures 16" x 36" x 2 5/8" thick. Note: We recommend adding center support blocks under the grate's center for any fountain, stone or other feature that weighs over 50 lbs to allow support of an adult for servicing the display and because even a heavy duty grate can sag in time without center support. With cinder blocks beneath its center, this platform can support almost 1,000 lbs.
