Here's a beautiful French PARKER SONNET mechanical pencil, date marked 1st quarter 1993 and in the ATHENS GOLD finish. The beautiful finish is obtained through deep cut longitudinal engravings from which the shadowy effect gives illusion to black pinstriping. The pen's surface and  trim is all 23K plated gold. This pencil was previously owned but unused   The pencil is 5-1/4" long and is marked on the cap band PARKER SONNET FRANCE  111L (1993) along with the French square PP/ARROW touch mark. The pen has a black jewel at the top of the cap.  The gold surface is flawless The pencil is twist cap lead advance/retract action and uses .5mm lead stocked in the magazine.  As can be seen in the photos, The eraser is unused. No box or paperwork.. but a great pencil!
