From William Whitaker & Sons, A division of Quaker Fabric Corporatiobn, is this beautiful mod poop art style fabric sample

This pattern is called "Newleaf" and this is the "Autumn" colorway

I did a little research about the company, as I was a tad confused about the label that is on this piece

The front most certainly looks like it's from the 1960s, when Whitaker shut their doors in 1970.

The name was purchased later on by the Quaker Fabric Corp.

They also made upholstery and decorator fabrics.  While most were sold under the Quaker label, in October 1996 the company began marketing a select group of its middle-to-better-end fabrics under its Whitaker label.

The back of this label on this sample piece makes me think that maybe they sold this pattern in the mid 1990s, but it sure looks late 1960s/early 1970s to me.

Either way, this is an excellent piece of fabric.  Could be easily used as is, just hung up as an art piece.

This measures 26.5" x 26.75" - it is finished on all four sides
