Late 19th c Bronze Eggplant Water Dropper with Grasshopper & Praying Mantis

This is a very unique and interesting antique Japanese or Chinese bronze eggplant water dropper featuring a grasshopper on one side of the water dropper and a praying mantis on the opposite side.

 The stem of the eggplant serves as the base and handle of the water dropper.  

 It dates from the late 1800's to early 1900's.

Dimensions:

5" long x 2" wide x 2 1/2" tall

Condition:

There are two small dings, one near the handle and one near the grasshopper.  

Otherwise, this is in very good condition.
