This thermostat limit switch is most commonly used on BLOT, BLOTBLDV and BLOTMC kits that require a "snap" style thermostat that mounts to a small clip located on the top of compatible fireplace models. These thermostats are commonly paired with high temperature rated wiring harnesses, since the wired needs to run along the side of the firebox to where the sensor clip is located.
