Our post cap is made to fit over an actual PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) or Vinyl 4" x 4" fence post, or a 3.5” x 3.5” wood post. The 4 SMD high output LED bulbs emit their light downward onto the side walls of the solar light and down your fence or rail post, creating a fine ambience. The light spread cascading down to your decking floor or steps is about four feet. The new 4 bright white SMD LED bulbs are embedded beneath the top of the fence post light, behind a clear plastic lens to emit a brighter light.

"Please measure your posts to choose the correct size solar post cap lights. Measure across the top of your post (without cap), from outside edge to outside edge.

The opening on the bottom of this fence post cap light, which fits over the top of your post, is exactly 4" x 4". Your posts must NOT be more than 4"x 4".

Please note: Some "4x4" composite posts and posts with sleeves are actually slightly larger than 4" x 4". These lights will not fit on posts over 4" x 4"."
