Separatory Funnel 1000 mL PTFE Stopcock
Offered here is a borosilicate 1000 mL conical, separatory funnel with a 29/34 ground glass stopper, a 3 mm teflon stopcock and a 72 mm stem. PTFE stopcocks never require grease and they will not freeze or bind.
The stopper is tooled with a groove that permits constant pressure equilibration during use.
Separating funnels are commonly used to separate immiscible solutions, i.e. solutions with dissimilar polarities.
Borosilicate funnels have shown high resistance to both chemical and thermal shock.
Separatory Funnels are available in the following sizes with Teflon or ground glass stopcocks
