An original antique, miniature copper engraved map entitled Veromandui, engraved by Hondius and published in a Latin text edition of Bertius’ ‘Tabularum Geographicarum contractarum’ c.1616.

The uncoloured map depicting part of Northern France around Chambray and Saint Quentin has a small decorative cartouche and distance scale. North is oriented to the left. The printed area measures approx 135mm x 105mm (size including mount approx 240mm x 200mm).

Condition report: Good condition; light age toning; one or two light spots. Mounted ready for framing (see photographs).
