1-1/4" Length: These screws are typically used to secure 5/8" OR 1/2" thick drywall to steel studs.  They will self drill into 20, 18, 16, & 14 gauge metal studs.    

Some of the popular uses for these are hanging drywall or plywood onto thicker metal studs.
