ARTIFACT: This is a circa early to mid-1950s pin for twenty years of service with Westinghouse Electric Company. George Westinghouse, made famous by power, had already patented revolutionary life-saving equipment for the railroad industry and opened Union Switch and Signal Company before starting Westinghouse Electric in 1886. Westinghouse became incorporated in 1922. The pin is by Balfour, and it is enameled in blue and gold-filled. 

VINTAGE: Circa early to mid-1950s. 

 SIZE: Approximately 5/8" in diameter. 

 MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled with enamel. 

 ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing. 

 MARKINGS: LGB (Balfour mark) 1/10 10K GF.
