MINI BMW R50 R53 Cooper One / S

Roof Corner Gutter Moulding Trim Front Pillar Finishers / Clips

Fits the R50 R53 HATCHBACK 2001 to 2006 Only.

The R52 Convertibles (2003 to 2008)have a different system where these

corner pieces are part of the windscreen rubber seal.

Please Note: PLEASE CHOOSE THE ITEM YOU REQUIRE FROM THE DROP DOWN AT THE TOP OF THIS LISTING

Grade A (GA) = Corner Trim in GOOD condition with all Clips / Mounts intact.

Comes with White Clip

Grade A- (GA-) (Grade A Minus) = Corner Trim in GOOD condition with all Clips / Mounts,

but the clip mount has a split / crack in it (Arrowed in photo).

Comes with White Clip

Grade B (GB) = Corner Trim in Fair cosmetic condition (will look OK when fitted) but 

with Broken / Damaged Clip / Mounts - May need mastic to help hold in place.

Grade C (GC) = Corner Trim in Reasonable cosmetic condition (will take a bit more effort to make it look OK when fitted) but

BMW will only supply the entire gutter rail which runs the full length of the car.

The item we are selling is the bit marked in red on the OEM diagram seen in photos.

It is just the Corner. Chose either Passengers / Drivers / 1x Clip (fits 1x Corner Moulding)

Distinguishing between Generation 1 (Gen 1) Pre-Facelift & Post-Facelift BMW Mini Models:
Pre-Facelift - Pre-July2004, Has a single central clear reversing light in the rear bumper.
Post-Facelift - Post-July2004, Has small circular clear reverse light in both of the rear corner light clusters
and single central RED reversing light in the rear bumper.


Distinguishing between Generation 1 (Gen 1) and Generation 2 (Gen 2) BMW Minis:
Generation 1 (Gen 1) - Has a normal Ignition Key, and the Headlights attached to bonnet so when bonnet opened, headlights point to the sky.
Generation 2 (Gen 2) - Has a Circular Keyless Ignition Fob, and the Headlights attached to car body so when bonnet opened, you have two holes in bonnet where the headlights were.
Note: 99% of Gen 1 Mini parts will NOT fit the Gen 2 Mini.


Identifying which side of the car the part is for:
Assumes you are sitting in the Driver’s Seat of a UK Right Hand Drive Car:
Drivers Side = Right Hand Side = RHS = Off Side = OS = O/S
Passenger Side = Left Hand Side = LHS = Near Side = NS = N/S
