(Devonshire, England), stapled paperback in pale green stiff wraps, illustrated with black-and-white drawings, 36 pp. - Slight marginal fading to covers. Moderate rust stains to spine at staples. Slight bumping to upper tip of rear cover, with resultant very slight creasing to a few upper page tips. Nicely inscribed and signed by Griffith on the blank front free-endpaper. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked. - Griffith's first book (of nearly a dozen). OCLC (No. 28607404) locates only two copies at institutions worldwide - one each at Brown University and UC Berkeley.

(Devonshire, England), red cloth hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, gilt lettering to front cover, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs and drawings, 64 pp. Slight soiling, rubbing and edgewear to covers. Nicely inscribed and signed by the author on the blank front free-endpaper. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a very good dust jacket which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve (removable). - If you are seeking thoroughly tested entertaining magical material without "finger-flinging" or fuss you will need to seek no further than the pages of this book. Close-quarter chicanery and effects suitable for both impromptu and platform use.
