For sale is this stoneware casserole dish made by Rogers.  This "Rogers" is Jeff Rogers, a Miami-based potter who apprenticed under Charles Counts at Rising Fawn Pottery in GA.   My husband and I were acquainted with Jeff when he lived in GA.  

This dish and lid is handpainted with  blue berries and stems.  It stands 4" high (excluding lid) and has a 9-1/2" bottom diameter.  A sturdy piece, it weighs nearly 6 pounds.

It has been used for display purposes only.   So the inside of the dish is in perfect condition.
