This is a GORGEOUS SHOWGIRL / DANCER'S HAT we are offering! The pictures are the best description. This is a very wide brimmed, stiff net hat with 7 rows of ruffled net covered in white iridescent sequins. The small, flat crown is also covered with them and has a large pink satin bow tied around it as you can see in the pictures. The underside of the brim also has rows of ruffled sequins - 6 of them...along with clusters of blue flowers and a few green silk leaves! There is a wide band around the forehead done in the white netting and wire - it is stiff. This beautiful hat measures about 20 1/2" around the inside of the band. It is approximately 24" across. All of us at Hollywood Movie Costumes feel very fortunate in being able to bring to auction this fine piece of Hollywood History. All of the items we are putting up for auction were used in the Movies, T.V. or Theater. Please keep in mind the age of the hat! |
