The EDH-1 hygrometer plug makes the perfect sidekick for your EDV-1100, simply plug the EDV-1100 into the EDH-1 hygrometer plug. Use the EDH-1 to set you desired RH level, the EDV-1100 removes excess moisture in the air, when your target RH level is reached, the EDH-1 will shut the EDV-1100 off till the RH level rises higher than the level you set and it will turn itself back on and get back to work absorbing moisture from the air. 

The EDV-1100 is an electric petite dehumidifier, using Peltier technology, it is ideal for smaller rooms up to 1100 cubic ft. such as: a home office, bathrooms, kitchens, walk in closets, RVs, boats, laundry rooms, nursery, and perfect for use in hobbies such as sausage curing and jelly making. Simply plug the unit in, turn it on, and it quietly gets to work extracting moisture from the air and storing it in its spill-proof reservoir. Using Peltier technology (no compressor) it is a very economical way to remove moisture, using only a fan and two aluminum plates (one warm, one cool) to dehumidify. The unit will draw humid air over the warm plate and heat the air up, once heated, it moves the air over the cool plate which will draw the condensation trapping it in the removable reservoir and expelling the dry air out. 

The EDV-1100 is able to absorb up to 8oz of moisture in a 24-hr. period at 80° F & 86% RH, while only using 22.5W (9V DC, 2.5AMP). Working temperature between 45°F - 104°F
