Pricing FAQ: Why are your prices so expensive on ebay?
Answer: We need to account for all tax, carriage and ebay fee?s within the buy-it-now price. It costs between 15-20% of the buy-it-now price to sell on ebay and this must therefore be passed on to the ebay buyer. Ebay fee's are charged on both the tax and the carriage (yes, basically a tax on top of a tax!). Our calculation is therefore:
[(RRP + Carriage) x 1.2] x 1.2
The first multiplier of 1.2 is VAT. The second 1.2 multiplier is to cover the ebay fee?s. We hope that this goes some way to explaining why our ebay prices are more expensive.
